Carbonwater's News

Oh hello, happy Robot Day one and all.
It's just disappointing that I have nothing to submit on this day. My robot collab went down the toilet, and it's all your fault. Yes i'm blaming you. I gave everyone the freedom to join and make whatever they want, but it doesn't seem that that's enough these days.

Anyway, on the side i've made a couple of these speedcast video things, essentially me recording myself animating then speeding it up. Just to give you all a glimpse of how the magic works.

So yeah, I made a second Twitter account for me and Lochie's little game company thing.
Follow it up for exclusive previews of game development and such.

Or not, it's up to you.

Any suggestions for improvements, areas, or bosses. Feel free to throw them out there.

Also, it's still not too late to sign up to my Robot Collab.

I Wanna Be A Flash Sequel

So yeah, me and some guy slapped together this game.

It's so simple, yet it took us 100 years to make.

Enjoy.

Hey ya'll, how we all doing today?

With the announcement of Robot Day I have decided to make a sequel to last year's minorly successful Robot Collab. Feel free to make a part, I wanna make it as big as possible, you can find all the details here.

And today's the day to announce the winners of The Carbonwater Show voice cast competition thing. There was supposed to be a few more days, but oh well.

And the winners are:
JoSilver as Rotto.
NightBreaker as Zake.
Eddache as Lime Man.
FatKidWitAJetPak as Blueberry Man.

Congratulations guys, you are now part of the permanent voice cast.
I shall be PM'ing you with your scripts shortly.

Robot Collab 2 + Contest results

Posted by Carbonwater - May 14th, 2010

Yes, i'm going to copy and paste this every week until the contest is over. I wanna make this as big as possible.
Also, if you've already applied, there's no need to apply again. Already got you marked down.

So yeah, i'll be animating the next episode of The Carbonwater Show soon and according to the script this is the episode where all the characters get real voices. So instead of going around to random people and going "HEY YOU, WANNA BE IN MY SHOW" I thought i'd hold this contest thingy for you to voice a character (or two if you're lucky) in the series.

And of course, every contest has rules, so here they are.
#1 - Gotta have quality.
Make sure that you have a fairly decent microphone set up. I don't wanna hear any feedback or background noises. Just your voice and that's it.

#2 - Be dedicated.
This series of mine i've got planned to have a total of 12 episodes and will run to at least 2013. So i'm expected for you to stick around and voice your character in every single episode until it ends. I don't wanna get up to episode 9 or something and then you pull out on me and I have to kill off your character. That just wouldn't be cool.

And that's essentially it. If you think you meet these qualifications you can either link me to an audio demo in the Audio Portal, or you can have a shot at voicing each character individually of how you think they would sound, however many you want and as many lines as you want, then send it of you my email. Which is carbonwater@live.com. MP3's only guys, WAV's are insanely large and too much of a bother to deal with.

I'll give you to the end of the month, so you guys should have a decent amount of time.

So good luck, and you knows. You could be starring along side these guys.

Hey there lads and ladettes, how are we all doing today.

I'm here to inform you that me and Night-Mare's new game I Wanna Be The Flash Game is now in the portal.

So go and have a crack. Who knows, you might have some fun while you're at it.

FIRST GAME

I've reached 100 movies here on Newgrounds, and that sure is a milestone that only a few here can say they've done the same.
Well technically it's not 100 submissions by me, excluding collabs and such. But I don't care.
It says that I have 100 movies on my flash page, so that's good enough for me.
So, you should totally go watch the movie i've made for this occasion, because that's what all the cool kids would do.

Also, me and Lochie are putting the final touches on I Wanna Be The Flash game, so you'll have that to look forward to in the near future.
