jigglypuff is a great character fu. I used him (or her.. or it) as a sandbag. His/Her/Its stats say that he lost 1045 times. I used to be quite a player back in 03.

Jigglypuff was actually a really powerful character. A lot of people will be let down if she's not in.
Sheik definitely not. All time most cheap. You don't have to be good to win with her. Also, she can't be Twilight Princess Zelda's b-down...it's two separate people. It would never work. I want them to retry ganondorf, not as a falcon clone with new moves and his twlight Princess look. Game and watch, idc, I don't want him, wasn't that great in Melee, not many people loved him.

Game & Watch wasn't that good to play as, but he was great because he was so unique.
Since they already have Sonic, Knuckles would be cool. But he probably won't make it. I agrey with the robotnik thing. But balloon fighters probably won't happen. Also Lil'mac and Exite bike deserve to be full chactors not assist.
Yeah, I doubt Knuckles and the rest of the Sega crew wouldn't be playable. But there's a very possible chance they will appear as assist trophys.
We've already seen Grey Fox appear as a third party assist trophy.
I heard there were going to be a shit load of characters. lol. I always felt so...optionless when it came to the characters on Melee, and it's be awesome to see a hell of a lot more. I'm glad Sonic's in it though. (STFU, furry haters!) As well as Snake. I think Olimar and Pokemon Trainer's gonna be confusing though. And yeah, I agree that they haven't listed the secret characters. I mean what's the point of calling them secret characters if we're TOLD what they are? Lol. Anywway, I agree with your predictions. Especially with Liquid being a boss. It'd feel so right.

If they create a character model for a boss battle, why wouldn't they just include that same character in the game? It would require almost no effort. Master Hand would be the exception of course.
Because bosses are much stronger then regular characters, that's the whole point of them being bosses.
No doubt that hackers will just make an action replay for the game so you can play as them anyway.

my prediction is definitely paper mario (not the new one from super paper mario the other one) he would have a completely different moveset with his numerous hammer techniques and spring jump, but anyhow you're right im sure your predictions will become true (or most of them)

Balloon Fighter seems like a better AT than playable. I would like to see more Earthbound and Fire Emblem characters in Brawl. If you can have a Mario v Bowser, a Link v Ganondorf, and a Kirby v Dedede, what's stopping you from having an Ike v Black Knight? And a Heavily Armed Pokey would be an awesome boss fight. Liquid would have to be in REX or he'd be a Snake alternate costume. Back to Earthbound, I would LOVE to see Paula and Poo in Brawl (even as an alt costume for Ness or Lucas) and if Jeff were playable, I would crap my pants, take a picture, and put it on the internet. No arguement over your boss fight and returning veteran picks. And although I would prefer Bomberman over Megaman in Brawl, putting the Blue Bomber in Brawl would fail to disappoint me.
What exactly is so bad about Jigglypuff? It was one of the most powerful characters in either game. And I don't understand how Balloon Fighter can possibly be a character. The only way to make him work is to turn him into a extremely light Kirby! I highly doubt Sheik will be in it either for what I hope are obvious reasons.
By the way, thanks for giving Eggman's first name. I've been wondering that for a while.

balloon fighter, no (assist trophy mybe, but not playable)
Mega Man, mixed (i never liked the thought nor fact that there will be 3rd party
stuff in Smash, but i'll not complain)
King K Rool, yes (as a boss, not playable)
Ridley, definitly (again as a boss charcter or assist trophy)
Black Shadow, yes( i'd like him more as a playable character then Goro)
Cell-Shaded Link, mixed (i think instead they should create a mode that would let you play in certain graphics like 8-bit, epic n64, cell shaded, ect)
Eggman and Liquid Snake, no (again, i don't like the third party but i'm not arguing)
My veteran list
All characters return as playable characters with their own move set ( no clones) except, get rid of Pichu, Jigglypuff and make Game and Watch a Assist trophy.
Charcters i'd like to see
Kalas-Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean (i don't necessarily deem him as third party cuz his game was only released on the gamecube)
Sagi and Guillo- Baten Kaitos Origins (Ditto)
Link able to transform into wolf
Isaac and Felix-Golden Sun series (again, only released on a nintendo system so i don't see those as third party compared to sonic and snake but hey, thats me)

They're using twilight princess Zelda, so I don't think sheik will appear, especially considering that zero suit samus is pretty much a replacement (whip, agile, chargeable projectile attack, etc.)
